Erie Shipbuilding, LLC (ESB) was formed in October of 2005 for the purpose of BUILDING, CONVERTING, DRY-DOCKING and REPAIRING ships. ESB also has the capacity to engage in large scale general steel and aluminum fabrication and assembly.

The shipyard is located in Erie Pennsylvania on a 44-acre site with a 1,250 feet by 120 feet by 22 feet (depth over sill) dry dock, the largest dry dock on the Great Lakes.  The 4,000 feet of pier space and more than 200,000 square foot of production area, including fully enclosed fabrication and assembly buildings make it a great location for building, repairing, rebuilding and maintaining vessels of all types for Great Lakes or ocean use.
